The VW Kombi is a stylish, timeless and fun way to travel and we have provided a high level of customer service since we began in 2010. 

Award winning Kombis4u is a fully accredited local Adelaide owner operated hire company with a special focus: connecting you directly with the magic and nostalgia that is a split window Kombi.

We want to help you make your special day as exclusive as possible and what better way than to arrive in our chauffeur driven fully revamped Kombis. Each features a spacious interior with all-white seating, making them the perfect prop for stand-out wedding photographs. Each Kombi can fit five passengers in the back, with seats facing each other for easy interaction, and the 6th passenger up front with the driver. There’s even room for an esky to bring beverages along for the day. Add an element of fun and uniqueness to your wedding day, with incredible photo opportunities and something a little different to the typical wedding car.

It seems everyone you meet has a personal connection to a Kombi - there is always a story to tell and we love to hear them.
But sadly not everyone can have one. And that is where we come in.

Meet the Owners

After finding an advertisement for two wedding Kombis online, Joe & Judith decided to follow their passion for Volkswagens and turn it into Adelaide’s first wedding Kombi business in 2010. Now the owners of seven VW’s, the stars of the show are Larry and Lulu, the two wedding Kombis. Always a pleasure to talk to the many brides/grooms/wedding guests about their liaison with VW's. For every photo taken of them - thank you for your recognition of an awesome icon.

WOW.... Kombis4u was one of the best choices we made as far as wedding planning goes. Judith was fantastic at communicating with me and was always on the ball. On the day, they arrived slightly early, and both Judith and Joe looked incredible and professional. Add in the glass on sparkling to help settle the nerves was just a fantastic touch. Having kids in our bridal party wasnt an issue, we supplied the car seats they installed and uninstalled for us without any issues. We also got to choose an artist to play in each car so it was a little personal touch on the way too, and can really help set the tone. They nailed it! and im so grateful for them for being so amazing through our whole planning process but especially on the big. Jenna and Dave 30th oct 2021

Judith and Joe were amazing! If you're even contemplating getting a Kombi for your wedding, you will not regret getting one through Kombis4u.The booking process with Judith was seamless, and they even sent a beautiful photo frame with the first invoice. Joe was a fantastic, safe, and courteous driver and even helped us into and out the Kombi and helped us unload all our belongings. The Kombi is as gorgeous inside as it is outside and was so comfortable. It was certainly the talking point of the ceremony and looks sensational in our photos. Completely surpassed all expectations. :)

I highly recommend Kombis4u! Judith and Joe are an amazing team and very accommodating. The Kombis are absolutely gorgeous and something unique that no everyone has. It was great to keep the bridal party together and added to the atmosphere of the day, they also look gorgeous in our wedding photos. Joe and Judith went above and beyond for us to make sure everything ran smoothly. They are the nicest people ever! You won’t regret using them 😊

How many wedding cars do you usually need?

Hi, this depends on how many passengers the vehicles you are looking at can carry and how many you have in your wedding party.
For example, our Kombis can carry 6 passengers in each and it is very popular to have 1 Kombi pick up the Groom while the other Kombi is picking up the Bridal party to take to ceremony.  For travel to photos and/or to the reception, some Brides & Grooms prefer to travel in 1 Kombi by themselves with the wedding party in the other or all the girls in 1 and the guys in the other, whatever works for you on your day.

What type of wedding transport suits a beach wedding?

Consider arriving in a VW Kombi Van – compliments any beach wedding perfectly. A fun, relaxed way to arrive and they look great in photos.

Any advice on a wedding car to go with my boho theme?
