Offering solo guitar, duo, trio, quartet, or quintet line ups. The larger groupings usually include a second guitar or cello, bass, percussion. They can also offer vocals, violin, flute, saxophone, accordion, clarinet, keys or trumpet. If you can’t imagine your reception without a DJ, they can also bring in their pro DJ to make your night complete in one affordable package.

These musicians are talented. We had so many compliments from guests of all different ages about the music at our reception. What happens if our wedding DJ is sick on the day?

My partner and I are wondering what happens if our wedding DJ gets sick and can't make it to our reception? Do they plan for this sort of thing? Do we need to prepare an emergency playlist or something with our venue? Thanks.

As much as possible we will find a suitable replacement for any team members that cant make it to your event. This is our policy for live musicians and DJs

How much are travel fees for wedding bands/djs?

G'day. We're currently tossing up between a city wedding and a destination wedding in the country. Wondering how much wedding bands/djs charge to travel (and if they even want to?) How far are they willing to travel for a wedding? Thanks!

Travel fees are usually $100 pp depending on distance from base city. If end time is 11pm onwards and the location is over 2 hours drive overnight accomodation may also be required as packdown takes 1hr after finish time, and more if at a complex venue such as the Opera House. If the location is interstate then flights/transfers need to be calculated. Hope this is helpful!

What are your favourite songs to play at a wedding?

We're starting to think about song choices for our wedding. I'm curious about what songs musicians love to play at weddings (vs the cliched ones they get asked about!). Would love to hear your personal favourites?

What a fab question! Generally songs that are genuine, from Artists who write their own lyrics and contain solid musicianship or great rifs/baselines. Too many songs these days are created by producers, autogenerated so-to-speak and overly post-produced. That's why musicians often love to play songs that are classics- from before the time that music became a purely commercial and computing enterprise. Surprisingly, the ones you always find your toe taps to, or really touches you, will often be the same for musicians. With the exception of the ones that are fine to death like "Brown Eyed Girl" ??
