10/10 would recommend to everyone. I had myself (the bride), 3 bridesmaids and MOB we all looked amazing. I felt so confident and beautiful with my makeup. Kerry gave me exactly the look I wanted, all the bridesmaids and my mother were all really happy as well. Our makeup did not move at for the entire day, even in the pouring rain, after a few too many wines and a lot of dancing. Kerry was very responsive when in the planning stages and her knowledge of weddings and advice on timings gave me a lot of comfort (and was very accurate). Kerry was very professional and lovely to talk to whilst my makeup was being done.

Kerry and her team are simply outstanding. Very professional and easy to deal with prior to the wedding day, arrived early to make sure we were all ok and set. Then on our wedding day, Kerry and the team brought the best out in us all and we felt so good about ourselves. We were a bridal team of 5 and nothing was too much trouble and (we ended up having two events thanks to COVID so I feel so qualified to rate here and would give the team 10 out of 5 stars as cant believe the photos, the comments and above all how we floated through the day given how we glowed!!!!

If I could rate Kerry 100 stars I would! I truely think she may be some kind of magical make up artist. We got married on 2 Jan, so the weather was very warm. When I got to the hotel that night I was honestly shocked to see that my makeup still looked brand new, even after working up a sweat on the dance floor in summer humidity. On top of this, Kerry was a dream to work with, so responsive and helpful, providing lots of information leading up to the day and then was absolutely immaculate to work with on the wedding day. She created the best looks on everyone, we all felt like the best and most glowing versions of ourselves. I can’t thank Kerry enough for everything and I highly recommend her to anyone.

Should I get botox before my wedding day?

I'm considering this even though I've not had botox before. From a makeup perspective is botox a pro or con?

Hi, i would do this four months prior to your wedding and if you like the outcome you can redo this a couple weeks from your wedding day. I would use the same Dr and same amount of botox as you did prior. I would not do this as a first time thing just before your wedding as it is a little tricky to reverse. Kerry

I would have a little check list -

Look at the Easy Wedding photo gallery and select an artist that you like based on the the makeup/hair style images - ensuring this artist has lots of images (this will ensure experience)

Look at the experience of the artist

Then reach out asking -

Are you available for my wedding day?

If I trial you personally will you be the artist doing my makeup on the day?

Due to unforeseeable circumstance/covid etc if you are unable to do my makeup on the day have you a backup team? (so important)

Is my wedding day deposit transferrable due to unforeseeable cirmstances & if one of my wedding party is unwell last minute do i have to pay for the person not having the service?

(these are tricky questions, though need to be asked)

What's the best way to reduce bags under my eyes?

I had some photos taken and was shocked at how bad the bags are under my eyes! Will makeup be enough to cover these up for my wedding? What else can I do before the day?

Hi - thanks for your questions always happy to help.

Makeup coverage

- Ensure your primer is "matt" & apply just on the bags or raised areas (not brightening primers on this area, you can use a brightening primer on the remainder of your face if you like this look).

- Ensure your makeup artist uses a darker concealer shade on your bags (dark pushes into the background), or if any blue tones in this area a salmon colour concealer works well

- Ensure the concealer is totally matt (shimmer or oil based concealers will reflect and make this area look larger)

- Use a foundation that is matt for this area - I airbrush this area with a water based airbrushing foundation, this works best for bags or raised areas/acne/rosacia etc

-Powder the bags with a oil blotting powder - MAC has a good oil botting powder whch i use.

When i teach makeup my most used rule -dark receeds and light brings forward (therefore anything you want to hide use darker matt shades, anything you would like brought forward use light & shimmers (eg on top of your cheeck bones, or the bow of the lip use a shimmer or light shades) - this example may help you remember this great makeup rule.

General l information

-drink plenty of water (not dehydrating drinks eg coffee etc), sleep and use a cold compress (this can be anything from cold water on a makeup cotton round puff or the like), dont remove your eyemakeup with hot water, use cold- area leading up to your wedding day.
