Congratulations! Planning a wedding is an exciting time for both you and your partner but I know it can also be a little overwhelming. If you'd like to just have a chat about your situation, give me a call or drop me a message. I'm a wealth of information about all things weddings and really happy to help. No obligation on your part to book me. I get a kick out of helping couples navigate their way to MARRIED!

If you engage me as your celebrant, you'll find I'm a very relaxed and thorough person so I’ve got everything covered re your ceremony! I love a good laugh and my ceremonies are full of fun, laughter, perhaps a few happy tears and lots of lightness. I don't do boring or crap ceremonies but I do create a balance of fun and romance.

This is my full-time gig so I am able to respond quickly and MY couples are my full-time focus.

Choosing the right celebrant you can work with to create an authentic ceremony that reflects you both as a couple is an important decision so I always recommend meeting up for a coffee or a drink or even over zoom to ensure there is a good connection and that we'll make a good team.

Depending on your requirements, I can create a very basic 'legals only' ceremony right through to a fully personalised and custom-made ceremony with all the bells and whistles. It is totally up to you!

Just the two of you, two witnesses and me. My Quick and Easy package is costed at $650 in Point Lonsdale, Queenscliff, Ocean Grove or Barwon Heads. Contact me if you'd like it elsewhere and I'll just need to add in some travel.

I like to give you a fee that includes ABSOLUTELY everything. For example, there are no hidden travel fees, I include a rehearsal on-site and I include a copy of your Official Marriage Certificate from Births, Deaths & Marriages which is different to the certificates you sign on the day.

My Bespoke Wedding package includes the following:

A no-obligation meeting to talk through your ideas for the wedding and to see if I'm the type of celebrant you can connect with. This may be over zoom, skype or face to face.
Unlimited meetings to complete the legal paperwork and ceremony preparation (it might only take 1 or 2 if we've done the paperwork at our first meeting)
A fabulous ceremony is written specifically for you two. I've found my niche and love creating a couple's story which I embed within the ceremony. My couples and their guests LOVE this the most.
I’ve gathered some really cool tools to create unique and fun ceremonies and would love the opportunity to discuss these with you, eg: whisper vows
Suggestions and advice along the journey
A full rehearsal at the ceremony location
All travel in Geelong, Surf Coast and Bellarine region
My modern BOSE PA system (Bluetooth and wifi) If you’re not having live music, you are welcome to run the music through my PA.
My Wedding Kit - this comprises a questionnaire, a worksheet that helps you narrow down exactly what you want in your ceremony (or don't want, lol), heaps of options for vows, ring exchange, rituals and readings should you wish to include some. I also have a vows 'cheat sheet' which helps couples write their own vows if they’d like to but are having trouble getting started.
I'm readily available via SMS, phone, email and skype
I work one-on-one with each of you if you wish to keep personal vows secret until the ceremony
Your Official Marriage Certificate (OMC). I apply, on your behalf, when I'm uploading your documents to the Victorian Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages (BDM) for your OMC. Once they register your marriage, they will send you via express post your OMC which you'll need if you wish to change your name on official documents, eg: passport, licence, etc. Not all celebrants offer this service and many don't include it in their fee.
Preparation and completion of all legal documentation including:
The NOIM (Notice of Intended Marriage)
The DONLIM (Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage), and
The three Certificates of Marriage which are signed at the ceremony.
Fulfilment of all legal requirements prior to and following the ceremony.

Can we meet for a no-obligation chat to see if we are a good match?

Absolutely. Couples need to feel totally comfortable and able to trust their celebrant and see that there is a genuine connection. We can catch up over a coffee or a drink, or two, or if time is an issue, let's do a zoom!

What if I only want a ceremony with just the legal component?

No problem, I charge a lesser amount as I don't have to create a bespoke ceremony. I have created a pre-written ceremony which is short and sweet but covers everything from a legal perspective. You can add in some personal vows and I can even provide witnesses if needed! Give me a call to discuss.

What makes my pricing competitive?

I am in THE.BEST national celebrants association known as The Celebrant Society, and this is the best way I've found to benchmark fees. We also share amazing ideas on new ceremony trends and ways to pump up the ceremony so you're getting top class content.

Getting Sue to be our celebrant for our elopement at Point Addis was one of the best decisions we made to make our ceremony a memorable and fun one! She's definitely an expert in her field and a sweet love hustler at that. We had one virtual meeting for her to orient us with the documents, do's and don't for the event, and was very generous in sharing her thoughts and ideas. We appreciated how she followed up to make sure we don't forget anything, and even went out of her way to bring a sound system since I decided days before our ceremony that I want music played as I walk down the aisle. Our utmost gratitude to her for officiating our ceremony so beautifully!

Sue stood out to us as the must have celebrant after reading her blog and the reviews before we even virtually met for the first catch we knew she was our match. We wanted a lovely family relaxed feel to our wedding where family and friends from both sides came together as one. Sue was supportive and full of great ideas right from the start with providing recommendations for local businesses, ideas on how to write vows, endless possibilities for how to create the ceremony we wanted and don't go past choosing the more personal option. Sue told our story to our loved ones so beautifully when I read the first draft it brought me to tears. Our ceremony went gorgeously and Sue created a relaxed atmosphere for all guests with them all commenting how entertaining and joyful the ceremony was and one of the best they had been too.
