My husband and I had Lauren as our celebrant for our wedding in Byron Bay. We'd spoken to about 5 different celebrants before meeting Lauren, and we knew straight away she was perfect for us. She is calm, warm and has the perfect balance between light hearted and meaningful. Our ceremony was SO much fun. Lauren really got our guests involved and it was such a special, intimate ceremony. If you're looking for a celebrant, speak to Lauren! A total pro and exactly who you want by your side to ring in your marriage!

Best Ever!! Lauren is a true professional, she is funny, amazing, and super helpful from that first initial enquiry! From our first phone/video call I knew she was going to be the one to marry us. Obviously we'd never done anything like this before so had no idea about what expectations to have for a celebrant, but that first meeting we vibed right away. She made it clear about what we can expect from her and what will be expected of us and I loved that straight away. I'm all about both parties putting in the work so I chose her then and there! She put in so much time and effort to get to know us and it showed at our wedding ceremony. Our guests were blown away with how much she knew about us, they even thought she was our friend who happened to be a celebrant 😂

It’s hard to know where to start. Lauren was so fundamental to our day. From pre wedding planning, guest arrival, ceremonials and even all over set up running smoothly. She seriously was the glue to our day and as soon as she was booked for our wedding she immediately took the biggest weight off my shoulders and everything felt like it was suddenly taken care of. For that I am forever grateful. We were so impressed with our consult with Lauren that we booked her for our international wedding outside of Australia and it was seriously the best decision. Lauren was the perfect match for us. We attended the wedding expo on the Gold Coast which is where we met Lauren. From the moment we started talking about us and our vision we new she was the best match for us. My husband and I are very laid-back, Very fun and also pretty wild. We were struggling to find a celebrant that would allow us to be us. She made the whole process fun, exciting and SUPER EASY! You can tell from the moment she sends you homework that she isn’t here just to help you say “I Do” she is here to create your dream wedding and to bring the love you have for one another alive. I book out 12 months in advance with peak season dates sometime 18 months in advance

Question about marriage

Hi, I am in a long distance relationship with someone in the Philippines. We are looking to get married, but in the Philippines, you need to get your parents consent if you are under 21 and she is 19. If we were to get married in Australia, will she still need parental consent? The reason why we don't want her parents consent is because her mother is emotionally abusive, controlling and toxic. She will never consent to us getting married.

It is all about vibe you have with your celebrant!! is their ceremony style the same as yours? how do they plan their ceremonies, do you plan it with them??

do you want traditional, modern, fun, romantic. cookie cutter ceremony or a custom ceremony.

Always meet them first, whether thats face to face or over video chat! Usually they will direct the chat and ask questions, so you can come into it blind. Keep in mind, a face to face meeting is a lot more full on of a sales pitch than a 15min video chat where it's more about vibe

Try not to look at price and more at what they offer, what makes them different, how will they give you the ceremony that leaves you and your guests thinking 'WOW that was the best ceremony I've been to'
